Vet Tag

Sooo... Does everyone remember back when Wynn had a big update everyone and who had purchased VIP prior to the update received the vet tag? I was wondering if anybody else thought that that should happen again with the Gavel update due to the fact that this update is adding an entirely new province instead of tacking onto the current one. It has been a little over a year since 1.12. It was released on August 1st 2014. And if so, do you think it will happen?

Excuse me if this is a dumb idea, but perhaps people who already had the Vet tag would get something like Vet+ to show that they have been here for two giant updates? It would work like this: People who have been here for just Gavel and had VIP get the Vet tag. People who have been here for both 1.12 and Gavel while still maintaining the VIP rank would upgrade from Vet to Vet+.

Oh well. I just want to hear the community's opinion on this. Just post below. Thanks. ;P

I think they should use a different name and tag if this idea were to be considered. Maybe Adept, (Battle) Hardened, etc.

 

Vet -> Adept
Vip/VIP+ -> Vet

The Vet tag doesn't quite work like that...

Vet tag is for people who bought VIP before EULA changes were enforced, and exists so that those people don't think they were jipped of their money because they can't use the features they paid for at the time (like double xp). It's not something we can just give out to players who've played for a long time.

 

I like the idea. It's not stupid don't worry.
(there will always be those hater who won't like it)

 

Ah... Ok. I see. Well perhaps there could be something else, you know? I only assumed that such a reason was the case due the the implication of Veteran, which implies "a person who has had long experience in a particular field," that field being Wynncraft.
