Warrior/Knight Spell Damage Build

Pros:

• Insane spell damage
• Spell spam
• 8k-12k initial uppercut hits (with above average spell damage and water damage IDs)
• Infinite surfing with charge spam and mana regen
• Decent enough melee damage

Cons:

• Low health
• Dropped by most build especially thunder builds
• Expensive if you want good IDs (Vaward, Aquarius, Intensity, Idol)

 

Why Cumulonimbus over 3rd eye? Is the % spell on it better than Third Eye's raw combined with it's mana regen?

 

Probably because of the % spell damage vs. Raw Spell Damage

 

with 129 int you already have too much mana plus 130 raw < 46% spell/water

this build beats alot of builds, even some thunder ones because of the fact that your opponent cant aim properly with you charge spam and even if they do hit you you should dodge it

 

Cumulonimbus can go up to 33% spell damage, almost 1/3 of your base damage, as compared to Third Eye, which can only go up to 130 raw spell damage. Also with this build you would have a maximum of 19-20/4 mana regen (depending on weapon choice), making Third Eye's mana regen quite redundant, since your mana only regens every four seconds, and you have a natural mana regen of 1/1 second (correct me if I'm wrong). Also, Cumulonimbus give extra water damage, so it would definitely be better than Third Eye for this build.

Depends on the spell you're planning on using most and your class
Warrior: Definitely % spell damage, your spells deal damage in huge bursts which makes % better since higher numbers = higher damage if %
Archer: Depends. if you use arrow storm most, go raw spell damage since percentage of small numbers doesn't deal as much, if you're using bomb arrow must, use %
Assassin: Again, it depends. Multihit + Smoke bomb = raw. Spin attack = %
Mage: Again, definitely % spell. Your only good attack spell is a huge burst of damage which is boosting way more with % than with raw

 

What about war scream?

 

War scream is based on melee damage, not spell damage

 

Warscream would be a raw spell damage spell if it wasn't broken.
