    I'm trying to complete the Green Gloop quest, but I can't figure out how to get soft sand. Yodbon says to gather it from sand piles in the desert, but I'm not seeing any.

    they're pretty rare mobs so just keep looking and they'll show up eventually, they're called Shifting Sandpiles

    I found that I could gather a stack of Soft Sand in about an hour, so while the Shifting Sandpiles are rare, they’re not super rare
