Serious Rip Ronnie

I just thought I should put this on here for those that never watched Game Theory. As much as I make fun of Matt Patt, I can't imagine what he's going through.

 

Losing a great friend must be terrible, all I can do is sympathize.

 

Even though, I have to admit, his videos aren't of highest quality,

I honestly feel very sad for people that go through these things. Not only people that go through suicide, but people that are friends of suicide victims.

Even worse, I feel like every time someone jokes about suicide, they're joking that over a million people died of thinking they weren't good enough. Some people on the internet just treat suicide as a minor problem. The truth is, it's like a disease, and it's spreading across the world faster than ever.

Quoting MatPat from the video, "It's a battle that you fight everyday, and it's a battle that you have to win every single day." Some people lose that battle.

We have to support everyone that feels that they are unimportant in this and considering suicide. We don't want to see anymore corpses hanging from nooses, or dead people killed by their own gun purposefully.

R.I.P. Ronnie.

 

I can’t imagine how much pain he must be going through right now, after losing one of his closest friends. I wish the best to Ronnie’s family and friends, hopefully they’ll be able to recover from this.

But about suicide in general: The internal struggle people face that causes them to commit suicide is something known only to them. It’s like an invisible killer who can only be seen by the person it’s hunting. If you keep it to yourself, nobody will be able to help, you’ll be fighting it alone. Talking to someone about it, whether it’s a family member, friend, or psychiatrist, makes it much easier to cope with suicidal thoughts. If you’re experiencing this, talk to someone. It lifts a huge weight off your back.

 

Why do all my favorite youtubers have to suffer? RIP Ronnie. And just around the time Matt became a father…

 

Suicide is a solution, yes, but the quality of that solution is terrible. Like chopping off your legs because you walked. Suicide/depression is no joke, and it shouldn’t be treated as a minor problem. You have to stop it early, before it grows into something. ”Not on my door” is a bad treatment.

The sad truth is, we don’t know enough of it. Almost All who do are dead. To me, it seems it strikes even those who have a stable job, friends, a family and other good things.

Remember santacuzz, this problem is everywhere. In this community, in another, in your continent, in all of them.

And ultimately we cannot do much to help them. But it’s worth a try. You cannot put a price tag on human life, but you can on things that can save one.

Digressing and Sidequesting was one of the things that kept me watching Game Theory before I eventually stopped.
And it breaks my heart that the host of one of my favorite shows has passed

 

I’m a fan of Game Theory, and hearing this really hurts. Ronnie was an amazing person.

 

It was so sad watching that video. While I accept his videos aren’t of the highest quality I’ve always enjoyed watching Game or Film theory, and always laughed at matpats terrible puns or jokes. It was difficult, to say the least, to watch that video, and see Matt break down every now and then. I watched a few episodes of digressing and sidequesting and enjoyed the jokes like “subscribe so we can afford to put another window in Ronnie’s dungeon” and hearing that he passed and watching Matpat deal with it was so tragic, and like someone else said like the day after they found out Ronnie commited suicide Matt had his baby. Even though Ronnie’s contribution to the channel wasn’t always as obvious, I think there’s always going to be a feeling from now that there’s something missing from game theory, and the entire community will always miss Ronnie’s touch. Like Matt said in the video, “I just hope that he knows how many people he touched and how well known his style has become throughout the YouTube community.”

 

I was actually just watching this the other day but had to stop because it was too sad :(
and now i ran into it here aaaaaa
guess since i cant escape it i might as well watch the rest

 

I'm all sad now :(
