Warrior/Knight Revenant Is Pretty Cool

Anyhow, I kind of forgot that Elysium engraved aegis existed, and It looks to be a pretty underrated (if slightly weaker than other hives) item. And in my attempts to build with, I found that it combines near perfectly with revenant, and when you combine it with enough melee% like hero, it gets pretty crazy pretty fast.

Item overview:

Ornate Shadow Cowl: Basically just slapped it on here, you might be able to do better, but every buff it gives is useful and with its near 5k hp its going to be pretty hard to top how b̶r̶o̶k̶e̶n̶ good it is

Elysium Engraved Aegis: Seems to be the most forgotten Hive item, which is sad because its pretty damn good chestplate. Fits perfectly in melee builds with items with already fast attackspeeds such as hero.

Sagittarius: Needed SP, air damage, and raw melee. Pretty basic

Revenant: Pretty solid mythic boots. Nearly all of its benefits help this build tremendously, and the Melee% isn't too much of a downside with hero's % boost.

Flashfire items: needed a tier boost, also provides more health which is nice.

Old keepers: I noticed for a close range melee build, I lacked sustain, but had plenty of health and a good chunk of raw health regen. So why not abuse the best major id in the game? 20% healing per emerald on a fast attacking, high HP Melee build is pretty damn good.

Rycars Swagger: SP and stealing. enough said.

Upsides: Nearly 20k Hp, 150 agi with some defense on a warrior makes you pretty tanky, and combined with your 168% ws your survivability is pretty amazing. speaking of that, air melee is pretty underrated in the fact that your in the best situation to abuse the dodge powder special. Keep yourself out of range, combine it with warscream, and you can hit pretty good dps pretty quickly. also greed op so your health sustain is fine, no pots needed. also has some minor spell support with a small bit of ms and decent spell damage so you have some crowd control capabilities.

Downsides: base dps is only alright, at around 14k melee. Spell capability is rather poor but that's to be expected on a melee build. Also double mythic with one of them being new your money may not survive if you choose to use this.



This is probably one of my favorite builds I've done, mainly because its best upside is its very high survivability, which I always found to be rather lacking on melee builds whether it be weak health or low ws. This build essentially remedies it, while still maintaining good dps for such a tanky build. Please leave any feedback you have If I inevitably screwed it up. Thanks for reading.
