resource pack not downloading

When I connect to the server the game prompts me to download the resource pack, then it says its loading and after the game crashes.
The error code is -1073741819
From my uneducated look at logs I think its not downloading the resource pack.
Pls help I've been trying things for like 2 hours.

It means the program is trying to access memory without the proper permissions, and that's why your game crashes.

I checked your Minecraft logs, and it looks like the crash is caused by missing model texture references in Minecraft.

I personally use Prism Launcher, and I highly recommend it. It's open-source, trustworthy, and much more stable.
Download Prism Launcher and try running Minecraft Java Edition through it.
