    Hello, i'm a lvl 100 mage with a 5 t5 water powder Infused hive wand trying to solo qira but i do no damage at all.

    I know she can take elemental damage because i have seen it before, but i cant do any for some reason.

    Why and how do i fix it.

    neutral damage, or use one of those broken warrior apoc builds

    I did it with slider and a raaaaaaather glass cannon like weathered build ;-; (oh and i do it regularly for fun with my guardian build :D )

    im glad so many people replied but i'm still confused to what build i should use agenst it that doesn't involve mythics

    if anyone has a good non mythic mage build they want to share i'd appreciate it.

    To put it simple:
    Her defense subtracts your damage dealt. So since Huve Wand is fast (I think) its subtracts its damage. After thatall multipliers such as attack tier and spell % will be applied.
    This means f.e. a weapon dealing 250 on fast gets subtraced by 500 (lets say thats her defense) hence you deal no damage. Now if you use something super slow with lets say 1000 damage, with 500 subtracted you still get 500 damage.
    In the prior example you get 0 times all multipliers whereas in the second one you get 500 times all multipliers.
    (This is a very simplified concept of how damage is dealt).
    Therefore using Super Slow weapons tend to neglect defense of mobs while super fast will not due to their low damage over all.
