Old Players? Interviews!

Hello! As some of you may know, but you don't cuz im a stupid idiot and I didn't really tell anyone, I am going to be speaking at Unofficial Wynncon about The Evolution of Wynncraft!

I've set up an interview with Salted, Grian, and Jumla, but I also want feedback from former beta players and people who have been here for quite a while!

If you have any things to say about beta, and how you joined, or how Wynncraft has changed, feel free to PM me, and I might talk about your experiences in my speech!

My story isn't interesting, played to level 18 back in 2014, quit, came back later, played to level 34ish, quit, came back, played to level 52, quit (this was my shortest break,) came back right after Gavel came out, so I took full advantage of the DXP week.

 

I joined in like the first month of the public release. I got to lvl 14 or so and quit when I got to the VIP barrier. A few months later I came back and from then on I went on to be very active, semi-active or inactive in game as well as on the forums, with many phases of activity and many of inactivity. After gavel, I started to play much more and now I'm semi-active. I've used the word 'active' way too much here lol.

 

I played like early 2014, got to like lvl 30, quit for a couple months, now I've beening playing non-stop ever since, also, I've never had more than 4 stacks of LE ;-;

 

The first few months were very very laggy. It was a miracle if you could play for 20 minutes without crashing. I don't know if that was just me but it was annoying for a while

Guilds were not buggy because they hadn't even been released yet

Oh and there were no quests and VIPs got bonuses and stuff. I joined in July 17th (Almost 3 years!) so I don't have as much to offer as some of the more well-known veterans.

I'm pretty sure beta makes us all pretty nostalgic. Wynncraft was much simpler back then and most of everyone was like family.

 

i joined in 2014, so i don't know how much my experience will be needed, but if you want my interview, i'd love some more info on how it'd be conducted

 

I joined in 2014. I got my warrior to level 75, then quit. After a couple months or so I leveled my Dank Wizard to 75 and then quit until Gavel released. I took a month break in April because my computer broke, but after that I went straight back to Wynning.

Joined with another account in june 2014, got locked out of that account, got a new account, played a ton, got bored, left, rejoined a few months after Gavel released, played a ton, eventually started playing less and less, and here we are

 

What do you mean, exactly, by "old players"? What are you looking for, players who have been in WynnCraft for a long while, or players who are older than 30? Speak up, now. My hearing's not what it used to be. Neither is VIP town, for that matter. Some things age gracefully. Some things just fall apart.

Anyone can submit their story, but I want to main around before quests and the start of VIP town.

I mean I joined Wynncraft the first day of the Closed Beta and I've been making illustrations for them since then.
I'd provide you with all the old art, but unfortunately me and Salty lost the files long ago :(
