Mage Vs. Qira

Can Mage still solo Qira? I know of the Spell Damage fix that it broke Mage builds, but is it still possible?

Solo-ing Qira is not the only definition of powerful mate...

 

I didn't say anything about power...

 

As long as your damage output is higher than Qira's health regen, you can solo her. Since Qira has massive elemental defense, you should go for a neutral build. I don't know any of those for mage though.

It's a pretty darn good one.

 

With a Spell/mana regen build lvl 93, I can't solo here.
I'm using third eye, soul signal, crystal, memento, supression, raindrop, squid anklet, royal story and bob's mythic.
Maybe if you replace bob's mythic by Qira Infused Wand that can work, but I'm to easy to level up.

 

Does it solo Death or Bob?

 

Any water mage can effortlessly solo Death. As for Bob he isn't much of a challenge once you have his mythic from what I've heard.

 

Qira is just a flawed boss design overall, a stationary minion spammer with absurd amounts of hp and defense is not so much a challange as it is an annoyance designed to force people to fight her in groups... so unless you use a broken attack speed build that isn't even supposed to exist, no, it's not possible to solo her.

 

I was able to solo her at 96 with a spell dmg mana regen build, using bobs mythic. However the boss fight consists of me spamming meteor for 30 mins with her in a corner.

 

Third eye, mummy rag, electro, memento, jester ring, Suppresion, squid anklet, runic coin and lament/Voidlight, 110 Intel at level 92 and 13/4 mana. Voidlight can do 20k meteors if your lucky. Average is 10k. Haven't tested lament but Bob's mythic does around 8k.

Predposledni is better than Bob's mythic wand, you could switch to that once you reach 99.

Don't use that build. It's abusing a bug (+tier attack speed greatly affecting spell damage, much like the raw spell damage bug) that will most likely be patched in the next update, which is coming out in a few weeks.

Also, why are you so hell-bent on soloing Qira as a mage? It takes much, much less effort to do it with a group.

Doesn't matter because you can get a 2 Teir Electrocharge greaves. Never tried it but I believe you can.
