Let's Talk About Classes

Originally this was going to be a post about me just talking about paladins, but I want to hear what you guys would want as a new class in Wynncraft. I know you've probably seen this post too many times before, but I still think it would be fun to hear what you guys think.

 

i don't want another class
the original 4 were good and that lasted for about 7 years
shaman just came out, haven't tried it but i don't hear a lot of complains about it so it seems good
i don't think adding classes is what's going to progress wynn and make it better

let's keep it simple

 

Ye I agree with Minitinipower on this, 5 classes is enough and I don’t think another class would really enhance the Wynncraft experience a lot

 

Five classes is just fine, but if I had to make a decision, I'd like a Necromancer class

 

The new class is quite different from the other 4. The original have a context that is in medieval age, but this new one seems like in ancient south America.
Not said to be too bad, the spells are quite impressive, but lack of coherence.
If the CT do so, they may also add Engineer, that comes from Corkus.

 

Personally, I feel some sort of summoner would be a nice addition, though I'm not against a Paladin as a sort of hybrid class, likely a support/tank.

I also like the idea of an Engineer, mentioned by I_cecubePY.

 

Are you telling me this game has been out for 3 less years then ACTUAL MINECRAFT?

Man, y'all are all so old. I get the idea "If it ain't broke". However, I [still] think more classes would put a fresh spin on things and just find new ways to express a players play-style. *Also I just want a healing warrior, is [that] to much to ask?*

 

Yup. 2013. I'm early/mid 2014, and still don't consider myself to be an old old player. To be honest, I thought 4 was fine, since between them you can do pretty much any build you want, and with shaman now, I don't think variety in gameplay is nearly as much of an issue as original content.

 

I mean yea, adding new classes is cool and all, but i don't think that it's what will improve Wynn. 4 classes worked very well, but what made wynn better was the new content.

Wynncraft improved a butt-load since release, and never did they add a class. Just shows that the game can improve massively without adding classes. Maybe in the future classes will be what's needed. But not right now
