Item Isn't Unidentified?

I haven't played for a while, so I don't know much about the Gavel expansion. However, I did notice items have been changed and they should be "Unidentified". When looking through my inventory, I had a bow that didn't change to "Unidentified" It was the same as it was before the expansion.

 

Every item you find and earn now requires you to go to an identifier, identifiers are changed now. Items are only able to identify once now(All ids happen at once.), identifying's also cheaper. Items that weren't able to transfer to the new system are possibly useless(I don't know, I don't have any) and they can not be identified. Those items may also be removed from the item system.

 

So it's useless and I can't do anything with it? No compensation? Darn.
