Because if it was the otherway around you'd be asking an equally racial question about the black horse being faster

 

No matter how you change the tier-colours, there would always be one you can complain about.

Thats what the GMs thought about horse tiers and colours. Pretty sure its because white is a common colour of "perfection" in games, so they made the best horse tier white. They are definitely not being racist on that one.

White horses are rarer irl than bkack horses as that specific fur gene is a recessive gene.
If there are less of them it won't make sense that they would be the lower tier, thus whites are the top tier and blacks are second.

Well black people run faster and jump higher than white people. People prefer black theme over the normal white one. Black is the most common color in clothing. The best legendary dagger in the game is called Black. Black black black black black.
