Grinding

i have been grinding at frozen heights from 80-90 now and it's so slow grinding there any were better? Ty

if you use an air or water weapon go to the dragonlings of the depths
they're rather hard to reach but if you can its about 4-5k per kill and they go down fast with the right attacks

they have 24k ish hp
it normally takes me a few seconds to take even 1 down while spamming spins and smokebomb

 

uh and you shouldn't farm them, FZ is better cuz one shot even if less XP

 

Frozen Heights is good if you're grinding solo, since the mobs are weaker and less lethal. The xp gain can be seen as lower, but to counter this the spawn rate of the mobs is very high, and because of this xp is gained significantly on top of a higher loot drop rate (since every mob killed could drop an item/powder/emerald).

Demon Cave can give higher xp gain, but only if you are within a "Demon Cave Party" or "Dcave Party". In these parties, 10-20+ players group together and use dxp bombs/totems to maximize the amount of xp you can gain. Trying to solo Demon Cave is basically a death wish unless you are a mage or bring tons of pots to restore the health lost. Dcave parties are prominent on the weekends, especially double xp weekends, but most other times it would be best to stick to Freezing Heights.

Most areas in the Sky Islands have high level tankish strong mobs, which while giving a lot of xp are extremely hard to grind. The Sky Islands also have the threat of the void, which if thrown into you slowly take void damage and eventually die (unless you use a scroll). Totems are not very efficient, and the strength of the mobs can be deadly to unprepared players.

If you wish to grind, stick to Freezing Heights unless you see a shout for a Dcave party. If you see one, participate in it in order to get faster xp gain. Wear Cosmic Armor as well to increase your xp bonus. If you really want to, you can try out Sky Island mob areas, but I wouldn't recommend it.

You can, but it's way riskier than soloing Freezing Heights. In most cases, it's best to grind Demon Cave with a group, preferably a party with dxp and totems for maximum xp gain as well as protection.
