Future Update, Or Glitch?

Have you guys ever used merchants enough to notice one thing:

That item slot directly above the soul points doesn't register at any merchants. So my theories are that it is
1. Something intentional and will be used in a future update
2. Some bug

It doesn't work for two things: Items being placed into it from a merchant, or emeralds being taken out of your inventory for a merchant. I have noticed this several times before, yet not quite made the connection.

 

I don't understand.

 

This is probably just a bug, because those items are being taken out of your inventory in a weird way

Well maybe you just don't have an item in the slot

 

You haven't seen the the status image for powders being released soon?

I didn't have an item in the slot at the time.

clearly it's cuz they're adding something extra.

 

I have seen that but I don't understand what is wrong with the identifiers

 

If it helps you grasp the point of the thread, I removed that image,

the strange thing is, it's just that one slot out of the whole inventory.

 

Maybe Powder Pouch Slot?

 

Where did that photo come from? A short explanation or just a link to that thread would be much appreciated. Was this in a news thread that I missed or in a comment by Salted?

Sorry, just never seen it before and interested to see the original post or hear about it. I know the powder update is coming up soon, but that is pretty much the extent of my knowledge.

It is a bug. Don't worry about it. It will be fixed uhhh eventually.... later on, after other things are fixed.
