Forbidden Prison Extras

Hi,

I've played through the quest 'Forbidden Prison' a couple of times now and I really love it! It's quite long, but very well made :)

I was wondering if anyone could answer some questions I have about it.

1. At one point, you can give food to a starving prisoner and he says that you could tell his family in Lexdale that he's still alive. After a long while searching, I cannot find any cutscene or family members or any hints about this in Lexdale. It just seems to lead nowhere. Am I missing something?

2. The interrogation room. In the prison there is an interrogation room which you can look into. Does it have any other uses? All of the rooms have an item or something with a use, except this room. Again, have I missed something here?

3. Inmate outfit. What's its use?

4. At one point, you can get a lockpick (which says it's specifically for a trapdoor). Once again, I cannot for a use for this.


If you know the use for any of the above things, please let me know :)

I should also point out that I have searched through Lexdale WEARING the inmate armour and also not wearing it - nothing changes/happens.

 

Yeah, I'm wondering about most of these things, too. I thought you'd have to use the lockpick to get into the control room, or to pick the lock to the warden's office to get the key to the control room, but no. It doesn't seem to have any use at all. I haven't been searching thoroughly for #1 though, partly because I forgot what town he said his family was in, so I'll probably search again and see if I can find anything. I also put on the inmate outfit, though like you, didn't notice any changes.

 

There are many prisoners who ask for assistance or for you to complete an errand. If you do so, you can tell their families in various Gavellian cities, and they will reward you with a bunch of emeralds

 

1. Lexdale Family member was glitched for a while but if you /class and pop back in and talk to the Lexdale Citizen NPC before they disappear you'll get your reward.
2. Probably just making the prison more realistic, haven't found a use for it.
3. Inmate outfit probably making a callback to previous iteration of Forbidden Prison where you got an Officer's Cap or something like that as a reward for completing the quest that had no value to it other than being a gear piece.
4. It's supposed to act like "Wow, you found a lock picker and now you can pick locks! Oh wait, this only works on trapdoors, which are nowhere to be seen in this entire prison..."
