Fiction Book / Manga Recommendations

With school and Wynncraft taking up all your time (well sleep and eating comes a close second), you may not read much aside from school books. But sometimes, I just wanna settle down with a good read, especially when you are off the grid and can't bring an electronic device! *horrors*. I'm going camping tomorrow and there's some downtime in the car.

So..... what is your top 10 favorite teen / young adult fiction books you'd recommend? I don't know anything about Manga, so if you want to share your picks, post it here.

 

I guess Tokyo Ghoul and Black Butler are good Mangas to read :D

 

1. The Inheritance Cycle (aka Eragon series)

2. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series + The Heroes of Olympus series (I'm not sure about your reading level, but the first series is a lot shorter length wise than the second. Both are AMAZING)

3. Harry Potter

4. Warrior Cats (sort of shortish, but there's tons of books in the many series that the series contains)

5. Artemis Fowl

6. The Eye of Minds

7. The Fifth Wave

8. Inkheart

9. Divergent (your standard dystopian, but still good.)

10. The Maze Runner (see above parenthesis)

 

I'm looking forward to #6 & #7 as I haven't read these yet. *high five* on having read the other series which are my classic books from 2nd - 4th Grd. I didnt get to start the #2 in the Maze Runner series, tho, and regret it coz now the 2nd movie has been seen, I'm a bit lazy to read on.

I read young adult to adult books. But I would still enjoy the series #6&7.

That is a fine recommendation for young philosophers. I never did get a chance to read that but now that you have mentioned it, it might be an opportunity to take a look at it.
