SPOILER Discovery?

So I'm pretty much trying to get all the desert discoveries, I already have
5 out of 7, and I think I found another one. It's in the mesa area near the
Eagle Tribe, except I don't know how to get inside, does anyone know how?

Behind you, by the tribe there should be an NPC that gives you a hint. I'd read what he says and try then. Read below if you still can't figure it out.

Spoiler: Solution

Go get the eye from the owl tribe (it's in one of the houses, should have particles to indicate that you can pick it up), return and place it on the totem, which opens the door.
