Best Class?

best class is Hollow Knight!!!

 

While I am biased with nostalgia, I do think warrior is the best class.
Good balance between damage and tank, and while spells won't debuff, it's great for knocking back enemies in a dungerous situation.
-Spells-
Bash - Yeah the damage isn't great, but it has big AoE, great knockback, and really easy to spam like spin attack
Charge - Terrible for overcoming vertical obstacles, but can easily glide through the air
Uppercut - Yes, it is slow and interrupts other people's combos, but a great distraction for the enemy and makes it easy to get your distance.
War Scream - Mega dmg and defense buffs and massive knockback that shames the wind prison special

I haven't even mentioned its tanking potential. By far, of any build, I've never seen anything tankier than a warrior build. From extreme damage resistance to good lifesteal weapons, it simply can't be killed in most cases.

And by far, most importantly, it is an extremely fun and satisfying class. It might not get mad instakills, but the slow yet powerful nature of spells make them fun to use and to spam.
Archer might to damage, but warrior is more fun than spamming bomb to win. Warrior even does melee builds better, generally speaking, than assassin. I honestly find assassin much more limiting and restrictive than warrior by far.

The only buff warrior needs is a buff that could benefit all classes; fixing resistance caps to make sense.
