Apocalypse Or Alkatraz

Which one is better for bosses?
Which one is better for guild wars?
Which one is more fun (in your opinion)?

Also, I know Alkatraz is usually a glass cannon build, but can it tank anything at all or is it like an archer? The dps on alkatraz builds I've seen can easily double apoc dps but I'm afraid that I will just melt.

 

depends on your playstyle
both are fucking awesome
alkatraz dishes out the highest melee in the fucking game but apocalypse makes you nigh unkillable
i’d personally go for apoc bcos lifesteal and no -walkspeed, also i’m pretty stupid and will run into everything and anything so I need some form of unkillabllity

Bosses: Apoc
Guild wars: Apoc
More fun: Alka

Apoc while being a "better" mythic, it's only use is melee and only 1 or 2 builds that you can use which is boring.

Alkatraz however, can be used in multiple ways and is good for bosses and guild wars as well. Also it is fun to go tank or crazy glass with like 22k uppers using alka

 

Can alka even survive bosses or guild wars? Wouldn't you need a ton of health pots to get through?

this gets the job done in wars, (which is just replicating what apoc does but better) and almost any alkaspell will get your desired effect for bosses.

 

id f you want ti easily solo bosses go for apoc
i think alka is funnier to use but not as effective as apoc
