SPOILER Ancient Scout Shoes

I was looting in the Dernel Jungle on my lvl 7 (Like any normal person, amirite) and found a peculiar item in one of the loot chests.



Ancient Scout Shoes.

A unique item with no ids. It wasn't unidentified when I found it. I've never seen this drop from mobs near Ragni, or anywhere for that matter. And what makes it interesting is that it is an item tier above common that DOESN'T HAVE ID'S.

So my thoughts about it? I really don't see the point of it. It's like a common item because it doesn't have any ID's. But yet, it has the skill point requirement, like a lot of the items that aren't common tier.

Is this suppose to be like an item you brag about or something? Or does it have like a unique armor skin that's cooler than the others?​

 

Armour skins don't exist, so... no.

It's probably just a glitched or weird pair of boots.

 

They used to exist. And I'd like to hope that they would come back.

Well it's "ancient", so maybe it was created in the in-game timeline before ids were a thing?

 

Can I buy them?

 

Eh I'd rather keep them because they are really interesting items. Really depends on how much you offer tbh.

 

IIRC they are set to not drop from mobs and appear in lootchests only already id'd (just like the pre gavel bow that xane already enchanted).

I've found two of these already in chests around detlas, thought it was peculiar how they weren't unidentified, but I just sold them to the item buyer, I regret that.

 

Someone in my guild had obtained a helmet called Test Helmet 7
It disappears after you switch class :/

 

Pretty sure that's an illegal item and therefore removed from the player's inventory.

 

If something were to have an average mana regen or steal of 1 and rolled a 0 when identified, it wouldn't appear, I'm not sure if that's the case here, but it could be relevant.

This is a glitch, but you're allowed to have glitched armor, you're just not allowed to sell it. :P

Sorry, didn't realize. The other stuff on the thread and my limited knowledge lead me to believe that it was a glitch.
