To be honest, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Love Live: Sunshine. The hidden genius in the lyrics in the songs is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of music theory most of the songs will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also YoshYohane’s chunnibyou outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterization - her personal philosophy draws heavily from other works of art, for instance Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai. The true fans understand this hidden beauty; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these songs, to realise that they're not just beautiful; that they say something deep about LIFE as a whole. As a consequence, people who dislike Love Live: Sunshine truly ARE baka. Of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in You’s existential catchphrase “Yousoro!”, which itself is a cryptic reference as to how “Yousoro” is actaully a sailing command, whilst also containing a pun on her own name. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Sakurako Kimino’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, I DO have a YohaRiko tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the true fans' eyes only - and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin' personal kouhai.
