Moderators are typically not chosen when the first post they make is "how do I become a staff", showing both their lack of knowledge about the server (and therefore inadequacy for the job), but also because someone who just joined the forums is not exactly experienced.

To become a moderator you have to consistently show yourself to be a helpful, mature and model member of the community. Moderators are not applied for on this server, as Wynncraft does not want to have anyone moderating. Moderators are picked for their good qualities in moderating, not for their wish to join. This is one of the reasons we are such a good, friendly server and community. Anyway, hope this helped!
