This is why I believe that Gale is the perfect character and the perfect waifu: so for a character, there's Design, Personality, Backstory, Resolve, and the way they have been depicted. Design is fairly subjective but imo Gale's design is done extremely well and is one of the most memorable character designs in all of fiction. Personality, Gale literally popularised the most popular character trope in video games, of the quiet and reclusive character type. Don't need to say anything about Gale's traumatic backstory, where despite being a child who barely knew how to talk, she came to terms with pain and fear without even shedding a single tear. Resolve, this is Gale's strongest aspect, she is completely and fully determined to be the best in her field, this is executed without the usual "I wanna be the very best" approach that feels cringey, Gale's resolve to be the best has a reason and is a very core part of her character. The way of depicting characters is what I believe to be Wynncraft's biggest appeal, they depict flawed characters as... flawed characters, they aren't the best at dealing with their issues and that's okay, they are made to be unlikeable yet there's something about Gale that I just cannot resist and help but fall in love with.
