Wynn, Gavel, Dern, My Theory About The Provinces

Hello everyone today i shall discuss my theory's about the provinces such as Wynn, Gavel, Dern, plus any other provinces yet to be mentioned. now my theory... i believe that there will be an alternate province to Wynn which is Gavel, as well as that 4 other provinces for the 4 classes, as mentioned in the Mage information text on the website "learnt from the magic of the people of the Dern Province." hence i believe that Dern may be the province for the mage... and maybe 3 other provinces for the 3 other classes this is my theory, comment if you think it makes sense (or not) but please don't hate and appreciate.

Well, for starters, use stronger evidence, and possibly include more.

This evidence doesn't seem that convincing at all, the website says Mages learnt magic from the people of Dern, but what makes that support your claim that the provinces correspond to classes? This could just be a bit of lore.
Also,

Well for starters, yes it is taking ages for Gavel to come out, but the Dern province is most likely to come out, so i ask you... if its taking ages for 1 extra province to come out, why add another after it? then maybe another? and another? with the amount of hype this expansion is getting id say they might add quite a few provinces to keep players enthusiastic and wanting to continue playing the game! and yes i understand that this "theory" if you can call it a theory isn't well thought out... i just wanted to share my thoughts just to get it off my back :) i hope there are no poisonous thoughts between us, as i do not want to make enemy's but i want to make friends. i thank you for taking your time and effort to help me improve with my forum posting and i hope you have a good day!

Yes that is indeed true and one of the many flaws of this "theory"

 

They could add multiple provinces, but it took well over a year to build Gavel, and chances are another 2 entirely new and different provinces will take a much longer amount of time, and we don't even know if the server will live that long. And as far as I know, there are only 3 intended provinces. Your theory is a nice idea, it just doesn't seem to fit in

 

I'm more then sure that by the time Dern Wynn will be complete for provinces, so personally, I do not believe this (sorry if that wasn't "constructed criticism")

 

Like thedarklordyo said, there's not much evidence to back this up. And the only evidence you have isn't proof. Just because the Mage was trained at Dern doesn't mean it's the Mage Providence.

 

i think what he's trying to say is that they actually finished gavel a long time ago and they are working on releasing two provinces, it seems a bit far-fetched though. it would be very cool

 

Bob learnt how to use the Spear, Daggers, Bow and Wand in the same province, but if the mage is based on Dern, shouldn't it be logical that he went do Dern to learn magic?

 

No enough evidence to prove this theory. I highly doubt the theory for the mage. There isnt enough evidence for this theory e.g Dern is said to be under ground and not enough evidence proves where the enterance to Dern is. Most likely the door of time but then again it opens during gavel so it could be a quest regarding the reset class. On to mage. Before the 1.12 there was an island with mods called: Dern immgrants By the looks of them they looked like the work of black magic (dont say im raicist because they were endermen and ITS NOT RAICIST!!!). So Dern is probably full of evil magic. And if mage were to come from there they would of been evil and use dark magic. But it has heal spell to heal friends and team mates. I nearly made a theory there but yeah no proof that mage came from Dern. Also I doubt completely they will do 3 more provinces for the other 3 classes because 3 provinces... Not going to happen.

 

If mages learned from Dern and Gavel is supposed to be magical and mythical then what's up with both of them involving magic. And what would Wynn be? Wynn is corruption, its core is corruption, the mobs are corrupt the, npcs are sometimes corrupt, it's just corrupt. So with two provinces involving magical properties and Wynn involving corruption (and magic) it's kind of hard to say each of the classes originated from different provinces. That and all the classes have some magical ability to them so they are all kind of magic based in some way.

 

I don't know if they will add more provinces after Dern, though it is quite possible they will. After all, they have to keep adding things! Plus, the build team wouldn't have anything to do. Then again, they could make more areas in Gavel and Wynn, maybe Dern. As for provinces for classes, I doubt that. The lore states they came from Wynn.

 

Technically, it says the Mages come form the Wynn Province too, they are from Mage Island. It says absolutely nothing about mages coming from Dern, only that they use magic from Dern. This theory is not supportable unfortunately.

 

I just want to add that the page clearly states that mages "learnt" the teleport ability from the creatures of Dern, nothing mentions them getting power from Dern itself, or coming from Dern.

I said that there might be a province FOR each Class... nothing about them coming form these provinces, therefore there is almost a 0.00000000001% chance that this might be true but as some of you stated that is highly improbable. This does have evidence. Here it is from the wynn website. You click help, classes, mage then this info pops up, therefore his theory makes sense "Somewhat"

They only learned how to teleport from the people of Dern if you read that carefully.
