Parties

I am just wondering something about how the party works. When you are in a party and get xp, do you get the exact xp, then the other party members get some of the xp... or is it you get a part of the base xp and the remaining is divided up between the members. Could someone please tell me how it works?

 

I believe you share it and get less than a fraction of the xp supposed to be dropped, but when you kill a mob you get more xp percentage dropped, like, 2 people in a party equals to 110%.

 

So for a quest that gives 90K, and I'm in a party, it wont give me the full 90K?

 

I do not believe so. Although /guild xp percentage does effect the amount of experience dropped from quests, from my experiences , parties do not subtract from or in any way change quests experience drops.

 

everytime u kill a mob the other players in your party (only if he is close to you and close to your level) get 10% of that. so for example: if a mob gives 100 xp the party members get 10 xp. u still get the full amount from what i know

 

Also, for the XP to be shared you have to be near the player actually grinding. I don't know the exact radius of blocks, but it's around 20-30 (I think)

I think you get bonus xp. Let's say you should get 10 xp, but in a party you get 15 xp and everyone in the party gets 15 xp. I think that's how it works
