Sorry for the late reply, but mrcrayfish's model creator is free and does a good job at it.

 

Use cubik. It's the best for 3d mosdles. I use it but my 3d modles suk

 

Since Im an alright 3d modeler, I'll use cubik, but I really dont want to pay in euro for PRO.
Im going to probably make an armor piece named Clean Mythical Chestplate, (Emergency chestplate, for lvl 78s-85s?) This will take me three hours in advance.

If you're too lazy writing models in the JSON format, I recommend using this: http://www.mrcrayfish.com/tools.php?id=mc
It helps you make a 3D model without having to envision it with every line of code.

BDCraft Cubik is not free. You have to pay for it.

(lite version gives you four blocks to play with, that's it)

 

Oh, yeah lite is free, pro isnt. But I'm trying to avoid Wynners to have to fork out money.

 

I don't get why they're making you pay for software that has the same purpose as other model creators... it boggles my mind.

Ok I made a sick looking sword, compete with baked shading via iron doors. Now to take a screenshot of it, make a few more, and send in my application.

@Salted I've been using MrCrayFish's Model Creator and I have some models which I think look ok, but I don't know how to test them.
I put them into a resource pack I've been making and it just loads up glitched textures, how do I show where the hand is supposed the grip the bow and which direction it should be.
