Lore/Story To The Edge Of Wynn: A Villager's Tale

Please excuse any dull areas or a bad story; this is my first lore.



To The Edge Of Wynn - Chapter 1



Wynn, 300 years into the future

Silence.

That's all I heard across the lands of Wynn. I heard nothing. The only noise I have heard for a long time is the occasional groan of a zombie or the bones of a skeleton.

I've learned to survive on a zombie's flesh after being the friend of a Junk Merchant for a long time. He showed me how to prepare it to not get sick or poisoned.

But that's not the purpose of my story. I'm here to warn you.



Detlas, 287 years into the future

"Amazing town! Wasn't this town built by the legendary Grian?" I ask my friend Lil, who lives here montioring the Detlas Hourglass from time to time.
"Yep. I am the hourglass monitor, so if the hourglass ever breaks, we have someone go to our sister city, Selchar, and get some sand for the hourglass."
"How long have you lived here?"
"About 290 years. Villagers live forever unless they're killed, you know? How about you? How long have you lived in Ragni, Gett?"
"250 years."

It was the last conversation with my best friend before the Gavel Door suddenly closed.

I knew this because of a new feature in Wynn's code, the legendary life force created by the godly Jumla created to control our lives and choose when things happen.

The new feature made our arms disconnect when the Gavel Door closes.

The gods Salted, Jumla and Grian said that this was only to be used in emergencies.

Then I saw it. Corruption is spreading.


Chapter 2 - The Purity

The horns sounded. We had a fight among us.

Villagers and adventurers got their best gear that existed. A guy named Bob was holding an enchanted spear. I knew Bob because of my friend in Nesaak, Tarod. He came to Detlas just recently to introduce me to Bob. Bob apparently died in a fight a long time ago, but a brave adventurer brought him back to life. He wanted a successor, but the adventurer backed out. archers took the walls. Mages stayed in the back rows to heal any injured players. The Warriors and Assassins were front line. I'm a Warrior, so I'm in the front lines. I'm not sure what's going to happen. Will we lose? I'm not sure.

The monsters of the Corruption moved towards us.

Archers took out the zombies and skeletons that approached. Mages healed and defended front and back rows. No one knew who was who. Warriors and Assassins took down many monsters, especially the Assassins with Multihit.

The fight went on, and we got a messenger from Ragni saying that there was fights in all of the towns. That means Corruption spread fast. But I thought the Corruptor of Worlds was killed? Wouldn't the Corruption be very weakened? There was another force controlling Corruption. I guessed it was WynnExcavation, but Amadel was also defeated many years ago. Could WynnExcavation have been re-founded?

I see deaths left and right, to focused on my targets to see if they're monsters or villagers/adventurers.

Then someone, who I believe is Bob, yells "CREATE PURITY!"

Then, everyone begins to have particles around them.

Wherever we walked, the Corruption would be destroyed. We were winning!

All we had to do was destroy the portal!

But, we see someone we have never seen before.

A Dern Mage.

These mages were mages that create dark magic. When Dark and Light magic fuse, it creates Corruption, and that's how the portal was created thousands of years ago during a war between Gavel and Dern, with Wynn as the battleground, thus creating the portal to only be opened by the Miners many years later.

By closing the Gavel Door, they not only protected more corruption with our arms disconnect, but it caused the Dark Mage to not be able to create more corruption.

Boy, was I wrong.


Chapter 3 - The Edge

We were the light magic.

Corruption began springing out of the ground, my friends became zombies, and I was lucky to get out.

"RUN!!" Bob yells to the remaining soldiers.

We run, as fast as we can, towards the Ocean. Nemract was already corrupted, so we just took the nearest ship and we were off.

Corruption sprang out of the ocean. We saw monsters coming to us on corrupted ships. The Dark Mage was leading them.

We went as fast as we could.

Then, something cruel happened.


Bob became a zombie.

The Corruption reached the boat, and Bob was corrupted. I jumped off and swam. Thankfully we were near the Gavel Door, so we got on land.

But I shouldn't say "we". I should say "me".

Everyone on the ship died, except me.


It was the edge of Wynn. The Gavel Door.

I tried to get it open. It wouldn't budge. I prayed to Salted to open the door, but nothing happened. The Corruption reaches further.

Then, all of the sudden, Salted, Jumla, and Grian appear and destroy the monsters. And the mage.

Except they didn't clear corruption.

I guess they were giving a message that I was meant to rebuild the world. I was to rebuild Wynn to get into Gavel.




13 Years Later

That is where I am now.

I'm supposed to rebuild Wynn, one by one.

I've cleared a bit.

So I wanted to warn you, brave adventurer, Level 100 is not where it stops.



You will have a battle upon you.

You should extract grian and salted and Jumala in the story it just sounds weird beacause there is no Gods in Wynncraft

Other than that 20/10 Had alot of fun reading this

 

Actually, if you go to churches in Wynn, they worship cows, however the head they worship is Salted. The villagers probably worship cows because Salted is a cow. In the end, he should just remove Jumla and Grian, but not Salted. So yeah. @Fredbear please take out Grian and Jumla!

 

It felt appropriate to include how wynn works in the story, wit hthe code and the builds and all, but I'll probably edit them killing all the mobs.

 

I think this should be the original Wynn, not real Wynn. You see, even though Wynn is in computers, in Wynn, it's real.

 

It's supposed to take place in real Wynn, where we're on computers playing Minecraft.

If you've seen my Fortunately Unfortunately thread (was deleted) you would know why I put that.

 

Is it okay if I rewrite this to give it more detail and such?

 

Although it could use a little more detail, and I'm not a big fan to how the owners were referenced, it was fun reading through. Nice story :)
