Guide Skill Building Guide By The Shrine Maiden

In this thread, I will give you guys recommendation about what you build for classes. Even if it looks unnecessary, trust me, skill points have to be distributed, and be built according to your class, or else your class will become weak and broken. Skill points is one point of aspect that differentiates PVP and PVE in MMOs.

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY RECOMMENDATION, IT IS UP TO YOU HOW YOU WANT TO BUILD YOUR CLASS!
Every time you level up, you will receive 2 skill points. So in general, you can earn up to 150 skill points maximum (Lvl 75)!

Alright lets begin with some basic explanation of the skills:
- Strength: Every point to this build will increase your class' damage by 1%.
- Dexterity: Every point to this build will increase your chance to critically hit the enemy (2x damage) by 1%.
- Defense: Every point to this build will increase your immunity to all damage by 1% (Default build).
- Intelligence: Every point to this build will increase your hunger/mana bar a bit.
- Agility: Every point to this build will increase your chance to dodge an attack by 1%.
REMEMBER: EACH SKILL ONLY ALLOWS UP TO 70 POINTS TO BE INVESTED IN IT!!!

You can see that these builds hold very unique and important buffs. However, only certain classes need a certain build, while the other classes don't!

Lets begin with warrior, a class we all know to be the master of invincibility.
Build 1:Royal Guardian
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
70 points on DEFENSE (Prioritize)
70 points on AGILITY
8 points on STRENGTH
Required buff: Health regen and Life Steal
This build for warrior is concentrated on full tank. People who choose this build will have very VERY low chance of dying as their defense is at maximum and they have very high chance to dodge all of enemies' attacks. This build is recommended for people who like to solo dungeons and sacrifice for others.

Build 2: Knight
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
70 points on DEFENSE (Prioritize)
70 points on STRENGTH
8 points on INTELLIGENCE
Required buff: Health regen, Lifesteal, and Spell damage
This build for warrior is concentrated on PVP. You will gain the durability to stay on PVP fights while still damage enemies a lot. This build is strongly recommended if you like guild war or duels as it gives you the maximum advantage over warrior's high defense and the high damage Scythe will give. The cons of this build is that you will be very vulnerable to Snipers.

Lets go to the next class which is archer, the class of speed and rainbow.
Build 1: Sniper
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
70 points on STRENGTH (Prioritize)
70 points on INTELLIGENCE
8 points on AGILITY
Required buff: Spell damage, Mana steal and Mana regen (You don't need lifesteal)
This class is very risky to use but very useful when you are grinding or in guild war. You will have the highest damage in game if you have Maelstrom with you and you are safe from almost all sort of attacks. Sniper relies on camping on very high grounds where nobody can see them or reach them. Your maximum damage plus your critical will guarantee to 1 hit a lot type of enemies. The cons of this class is that you can only afford 1 low damage hit or else you will instantly die. You are also very vulnerable to Rift walkers if they find your position. Another strategy of this build is you always turn on 10 stone shields as it will counter the damage enemies give to you and as your damage is so high.

Build 2: Hunter

28 points on STRENGTH
50 points on DEXTERITY
70 points on AGILITY (Prioritize)
Required buff: Mana regen
This is probably the most agile build among other classes. You can roam freely in the wild with very few worries of you dying. This class is recommended for people who loves to travel fast and get to areas which require parkour skills easily. This build isn't really strong in pvp as the damage isn't really good but it can counter assassins. Your strategy is to use arrow storm to always prevent assassin from going to stealth mode and they also have hard time to kill you because of the agility.

Lets go to the next class which is mage, the class of spells and support.
Build 1: Cleric

70 points on DEFENSE
70 points on INTELLIGENCE (Prioritize)
8 points on STRENGTH
Required buff: Mana regen (Just maximize this)
This is a support class, the build many people has been waiting for :D! This class is for people who wants to be a group support and always heal them. You can heal your injured teammates almost at all times since your mana bar and regeneration is very high. (Warning: You need mana regen iden buff to be a good cleric). You also have good defense which is helpful during your journey. Cleric needs defense instead of agility because if you got unlucky and the enemy damages you, you will die instantly. With your mana, you can always use teleport to escape enemies. Cleric is probably countered by all classes but is very OP during guild war. Make sure to kill clerics first during guild war as they are your worst enemy in truth. Your weapon should have knockback to protect allies from enemies.

Build 2: Spell Caster

70 points on STRENGTH
70 points on INTELLIGENCE (Prioritize)
8 points on DEFENSE
Required buff: Spell damage and Mana regen
This is the offense class of mage and it is dependant on your mana regeneration along with skills. You need a very good reflex to play this class as you have to pin down an enemt to a corner and then spam spells at them. Your tactic would be to freeze an enemy then damage them with meteore. Please be aware that warrior classes will counter you as you don't have sufficient damage to overcome them.

Build 3: Rift Walker
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
58 points on INTELLIGENCE
40 points on STRENGTH
50 points on AGILITY (Prioritize)
Required buff: Mana regen, Mana steal, and Spell damage
This is the class which is probably very popular among all high level mage. This class is for people who use teleport as their main weapon. You will be very deceiving and your movements are unpredictable. Your tactic would be to teleport at enemies and use meteore on them. This class requires advanced mage skills since you need to be able to figure out safe spots quickly before the enemy strikes back. This build is vulnerable to assassins however as they can spam spin attack to quickly take you out.

Lets get to the last class which is assasin, the master of assassination and stealth.
Build 1: Shadow lurker
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
70 points on STRENGTH (Prioritize)
70 points on AGILITY
8 points on INTELLIGENCE
Required buff: Mana regen and Spell damage
This class requires bravery and intense usage of stealth. Your damage will probably 1 hit ko all mages and archers. You need to stay hidden and only strike when the moment is right since high damage build like Spell caster, Sniper, or Knight can kill you easily if you don't know how to hide. This is probably the best class to counter Royal guardian since it penetrates the defense. You can instantly use smoke bomb to take out snipers.

Build 2: Rogue
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
50 points on DEXTERITY
70 points on DEFENSE (Prioritize)
28 points on STRENGTH
Required buff: Lifesteal, Spell damage, and Mana regen
This build is for people who likes to have close combat with enemies and doesn't mind getting damaged by them. This build isnt really strong during guild war but it is recommended for duels as you still have high damage without a lot of strength. You also have the ability to dodge and moderate defense. Be sure to have health regen and life steal at all times so you can survive longer in the battlefield.

Here is a summary for what build you are looking for:
PVP: Knight, Sniper, Spell-Caster, Rift Walker, Shadow Lurker
PVE: Cleric, Royal Guardian, Rogue, Hunter
Exploring: Rift Walker and Hunter

Both archer builds really kinda suck. Best archer build imo is 70 strength 70 def 8 dex/agility

Builds without defense make me cringe

BTW: If you are a cleric (mage) you can spam ice snakes on a boss, so your friends can kill it without problems (you have to cast ice snake when the slowness on the boss is almost away, your mana is gonna regenerate without problems.. ). And you can spam 7-9 meteors when you have full mana.

PS: If you are in a group of 2 mages, 1 mage should be a cleric and one should be a spell caster, We were able to kill 2 forms of Amadel with this... (thats awesome for just 2 mages cuz you know... Low dmg)

 

Mages arent made to solo, they are the most powerful paired up with someone, but with the changes in classes and weapons in gavel, this entire thread will be irrelevant

 

one that is good is the spellcaster you can still use that build and its very good but isntead of cornering them you could just hit them with mana normally
