The fandoms overlap so why not just have 1 thread for the two shows? Also, if you aren't caught up with either of the shows, you should probably be aware that there WILL be spoilers on this thread. So, just to be nice, I'm going to ask as the only rule of this thread, keep spoilers about the latest episode of either show inside of a "spoiler" box.

Don't know what Gravity Falls or Steven Universe are? Look it up on the internet, they're hilarious shows masking huge conspiracies! They're made by brilliant minds who also happen to be demons using feels bombs on us. Oh, I remember when both seemed so light-hearted at first... good times.

last mabelcorn sounds like fun, very hype. Thinking it's like Sock Opera where the A-plot is Mabel goofing off while the B plot is more major plot-wise, but it's still the B-plot.

 

Seems to be the general assumption, though like Sock Opera, people will probably mostly care about the B-plot, even the if A-plot is still really good. Bit of a shame.

The B-plot actually advances the main plot of the series, while the A-plot is just Mabel flirting with dudes or fighting unicorns.

 

I enjoy both series, but I probably like Steven Universe more.

Garnet will always be best gem! The song she sang and her character development are 10/10! But I have a feeling that Peridot will become an ally to the Crystal Gems in the fight against Homeworld.

 

I think it's time to give this thread a comeback, especially with Weirdmageddon happening!

 

I'm surprised to see no one has replied here yet. Weirdmageddon aired last night, people! On the subject of that, anyone else find it weird that we didn't see Stan once except for that one part where he ran away from Gompers?

 

That episode was jam-packed, it was already 1 minute longer than a normal episode. I guess they figured they could do without Stan.

I don't know why I don't like Steven Universe as much. Theyre both good shows airing on channels filled with crap.
But yeah Weirdmaggedon 10/10 would cliffhanger again.
Too bad Gravity Falls might end after season 2.
