Does Fruma have a nuclear ☢️ arms program?

Yes, i am being half legit with this post. Before anyone mentions this, yes i know there’s a boss fight in fruma with “Mother of all Bombs.” That references a high yield, but conventional (nonnuclear) bomb irl.

 

Nooo-? Iirc there's nothing in Fruma to indicate they've even reached WW1 levels of military technology.

The exact technology going on in Fruma is hard to put down exactly. Near-modern manufacturing, but the weapons seem older - and the soldiers still wear armor. Of course, Fruma doesn't have a reason to develop its military - it's had no major conflicts for a while. And anything goes when you've got magic weapons involved. Maybe armor will never fall out of fashion.

Fruma would probably have developed nuclear-equivalent technology eventually if we hadn't murdered the Queen. Whether it will now is hard to say. Soosu is still an immortal Scion, and now has zero chance of losing that status. She is, therefore, still a master technologist, but not necessarily motivated to keep going.

 

I feel like the MOAB is more magical than nuclear

 

In Soosu's lab, we see the archers-trapper archetype trap implying she invented them.

The Trappers Ultimate is literally a carpet bombing so I'm not surprised if Fruma at least had missiles.

It's probably not Nuclear but rather some magic thing like how Quartz is used but yk a Fruma material/technology.

I don't know why you'd think it was, given its not even in Fruma where you find it, it's in the Realm of War - a completely different plane of reality. The Mother of All Bombs is indeed a Literal nuclear warhead, but it wasn't really created by anyone, it's a product of the Realm of War
