wynnmods

been looking at other threads and seeing that stuff like wynntils is allowed, but what about the wynnlanterns mod? been trying to enhance the experience a little, and with being farely new to shaders this would help a lot during the ingame night cycle

 

I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. The only banned mod I can think of is Salt Road.

 

why is that mod banned? I'm fairly new here

 

It gives you an unfair advantage on the player market iirc

 

Why is that banned? Wynventory pretty much has a similar thing or is it just cause of how much data it gives? Idk how knowing an average price would be an unfair advantage

As long as it doesn't give you a completely unfair advantage almost any mod is available. Wyntils is by far the best because it adds macro in(you can use a macro but you're only allowed to have the button activate 1 spell per click, you cannot set up a macro to do 2+ spells per click as now you're creating an unfair advantage)

 

Wynnventory used to collect the prices of all items on the current tm page, the mods then decided this wasn't allowed and that's when Salt Road appeared restoring the disabled Wynnventory logic. Later the mods allowed Wynnventory to work if instead of it automatically collecting the prices it only worked for items the user manually hovers over
