The DXP event was supposed to be "month-long" but it's been a month and a half at this point. The modifier has been low for a while and the various teaser stuff is over. No more festival crates. I suspect some planned publish date was supposed to be last week, but the Beta didn't go super well and it ended up getting pushed back.

as with all things, it's done when it's done. There was never an official date posted, so as far as we know they could have planned for it to be finished on march 31st at 23:59.

It's no secret we decided to take a lot more time to polish some quests and the raid. I feel like the healthiest estimate would be early April for its live release. Really depends on how mounts go.

I'd rather have it done well than done sooner. There's also more time for preparing this way, so that's a win-win.

The difference between then and now is that it's literally playable on beta right now

    ... Also March 2026 IS early 2026

So, for those of you who weren't around when Gavel came out, it was delayed several times. Then it was rushed and came out and was half-baked. Maybe one-quarter-baked. Bad quests, empty levels (unless I'm misremembering, the highest level quest was level 90, the level cap was 100), half of the features that were anticipated weren't actually released until months later (powders being a notable one), and all of the bugs. I would much rather they take a bit longer to get it polished than to have this be the same experience again. I just want the wonder and magic half.

This post isn't negative. I accept delay. I'm patient and I understand exactly why you'd want to delay your product until you were absolutely sure it was ready to ship. I just have a habit of Observing Things and then people thinking the Observation was Negative Commentary because it was an acknowledgement of a quality traditionally understood as "bad", such as "a delayed product", with no further description.

    Welcome to autism i guess
I agree that I'd rather get Fruma late, but balanced and actually fun to play
It seems like maybe the beta had more issues/feedback than expected, possibly because of the larger beta testing group thanks to the bundles
