Mage/Dark Wizard Help Mage Cheap Build Lootrunning

Hi can anyone recommend a lootrunning build for lightbender/riftbender? I have tried rift walker and don't like the spell rotation, I'd rather have something simpler. I have not tried arcanist because it does not have heal unless there is a cheap/easy solution for that I would not like to burn potions. I am new so just using Morph + The Nothing. The build Need to be non-mythic for now. If the build has good health sustain for arcanist (regen/lifesteal) then I am also willing to try.

I have tried looking around but all the builds are outdated with old ability tree etc. Bonus points if most equipment I can just buy all from market as easier than doing quest/dungeon for items.

 

I would upgrade to cascade I believe it’s better than the nothing. Then that should work until you can afford a mythic. Maybe splurge and get better rolls on your stardust

 

I've tried cascade and the nothing, right now I am trying arcanist and was getting 60k dps on training dummy using cascade, but did the same combo/timing with the nothing and got 110k instead so I don't think its better unless there is other metrics. Yup i did just buy 94% spell damage roll on the stardust not sure how much it helped but its not that much more emeralds so i don't mind.

 

You said lightbender in the title, the extra mr from cascade helps you sustain, and your supposed to powder it with water. With a good spell damage % and main attack it should do more

The breastplate can be replaced with anything that provides MR and air damage.
