    It's been year s ...
    We are back! I joined the Content Team, which is part of why it's been radio silence for so long, hope you guys have enjoyed the Beta so far! There's two new models in this update which I haven't yet showed off, so you won't miss your bi-annual yap from me.

    Once known as the Doomsday Weapon, it was ultimately never used for its intended purpose - its solar focus was cracked upon the day of its completion. All but a fraction of its energy was expelled, obliterating its creators, but overwhelming magical force still pulses and thrums through the web of fractures in its design.
    The first thing I do when I start work on the next update is give this some animations. I think just some cracks or radiating beams from the lens would be good. I know the fairly uncracked lens isn't lore-accurate, but hopefully the animations should help with that.
    I think the shapes on this model are some of the best I've made. It feels organic, and the mirror feels circular without using too many cubes.

    The Elves managed to harness the power of air itself, forming a bow made entirely of air currents, allowing the user to move swift like the wind, but vulnerable to attacks.
    Clouds. Don't have too much to say about this one, I modelled it before the hiatus and forgot whatever I would've yapped about it.
    The GIF makes the animation seem a bit choppy, I promise it looks smoother in-game.

    I hope to push out the next full update sooner (hopefully 6 months isn't too harsh a deadline -_-), and by that point Fruma will most likely be out, so there will also be some new Mythics to model too! Vengeance looks nice, already got a concept cooked up that one.

    As seen by the Labyrinth retexture, I intend to go back to older models and give them the love they deserve. Most of the Annihilation Mythics are also on the (long) todo list, because most of their textures aren't at the standard I want. While canonically they are not from Annihilation, I feel like it makes the most sense if they are textured as if they are, but I could add small details to show where they come from lore-wise.

    Thought about it yeah, but armour's rendered differently to items, so I only have control over their textures, which is quite limiting. So I'd rather just stick to weapons. Plus, you're always seeing your weapon, but rarely ever looking at your own armour.

    Not yet. I've been trying to figure out what's happened to the item names because of the tooltip rework, but once I've been able to find it out, I'll make sure it works for Fruma.

    I'd need Mojang to stop hardcoding armour models. It's possible to replace the texture of armour when its worn, but not the model (and I'd prefer to be able to change the model because I want that freedom). So I'd have to either find a mod that bypasses this restriction, or wait until Mojang adds the infrastructure to support armour models, but I'm not too hopeful for that last part. Replacing what the armour looks like when its in your inventory and when you're holding it is currently possible, but you hardly ever see them during gameplay, and if you don't see it in third person either, I don't think it's all that worth it.

    Hi Rythew,
    I’m having trouble with the Wynnic Fables & Legends2 pack: none of the textures load for me, although the pack verifies successfully when I run the pack verification command. I want to play this pack in my own survival world — all required mods are installed on my side, but the textures still don’t appear.
    I’ve spent about five hours trying various fixes (reinstalling the pack, testing different instances, checking , trying lower resolutions, and testing in both launcher instances and the vanilla launcher) with no success. Could you please tell me whether this pack requires connecting to the Wynncraft server to function, or if it should work locally in a single-player world? If it can be used locally, could you provide step‑by‑step instructions for setting it up correctly (including any specific mod versions, folder locations, or launcher settings I should use)?
    I can attach logs, the , and the resource pack zip if that helps. I’d really appreciate any guidance — I’ve been stuck on this for hours and would be very grateful for your help.

    Hello!
    Although the pack doesn't require connecting to Wynncraft in order to function, it only remodels potions as that is what wynn uses as the base item for all of its weapons. Making it only check potion items to apply models to is just a performance-wary restriction. These models are designed for use on Wynncraft specifically, but I certainly won't stop you from using them for personal and private use only. You can unzip the pack and navigate to assets/.minecraft/variants-cit/item, and in each of the json files, replace minecraft:potion with whatever item you want to reskin in your survival world.

    With that being said, I'm unsure what you mean by 'pack verification command' and 'trying lower resolutions'? Seems a bit unusual.
