Playable framerates?

Was going through a lvl 60 quest when all of a sudden i dropped to literally 0 fps on the dialogue sections (a relog fixed it)

i am indeed using a modpack

This got me curious about what everyone considers an acceptable framerate to play at. My system is terrible so i generally get around 20-30 fps, sometimes less than 10 in the especially intensive areas, but i'm used to it so i don't mind that much.
(Poll starts on exponents of 2 because i personally believe 16 is the minimum)

 

I used to be the same as you for years until I recently got a new gaming PC. The difference is day and night and I'm never going back lol.

 

The few games where i do get consistent high framerates, i am always impressed by how smooth it looks. If i had a good computer, i might occasionally go back to lower framerates for a while just so i can be impresssed by the high ones again.

 

Im gaming on a macbook air M2 using wynntils and BSL shafers and getting between 30 and 90 FPS depending on where i am. But i think 30 fps is the min i can really play the game
