A troll? No, it's not.

 

the item knucklebones is a troll. it's got bonus attack speed but then it gives you a comically butt ton of negative lifesteal and manasteal.

have you actually tried this build? may i know what your success with it is in endgame content?

For a tierstack epoch, i don't need any mana. I use Gale's force for moving fast (i don't use escape). And the very bad lifesteal is for "rage" (powder effect).

 

for builds that capitalize on rage to min-max damage—"perfect-play" builds, you could call them— usually require good mobility to kite enemies properly. and while i'll say that 58% ws is fine, it's certainly nowhere near fast enough to keep you safe, with other builds this is fine because it's remedied by movement spells... which since comically bad negative manasteal... you cant cast! you'd be a sitting duck! well, maybe more like a waddling duck after speed boost, but you'd still be easy pickings

also i still want to know if you've used this and to what degree of success

 

Yep, i used it and if you play good, this build is good (use Gale's force with it if u can).

You can ls cancel with tomes, and although the damage is better with earth powder, it has good thunder powder synergy preventing it from earth def of TCC specifically.
I personally don't really like tier-stack archer outside of TCC because it's extremely difficult to keep focus on any other boss. The walk speed is remedied by frenzy, and would say that the t-stack playstyle varies a little with or without mana. You will just be locked out of arrow shield and coursing restraint from arrow bomb, which can be impactful for team support. However, you could escape still by switching to a weapon with -2nd spell cost like renegade, winterspell, and acrobat. Overall, I would say it could* perform better than non-crafted Epoch t-stack without knucklebones even with coursing restraints, but at the expense of team support and qol. You can make crafteds with +2 attack speed while incorporating melee damage stats though, so I'm not sure if knucklebones can compete.
Also I kinda like knucklebones cause it's funny, so I might have a bias.

 

you know what i'll give credit where it's due, you're doing your best in making knucklebones work and in the exact scenario you've outlined, yeah ok i'd say its more viable than the original one.

i, however, do not have any attachment to knucklebones so i will clown on it at any chance given, because its funny.

 

I think we can replace the helmet with "Blood Moon" for more dps.
