Returning after a while, got some questions.

Was trying to get some items through farming, but it seems like mobs don't drop unidentified items anymore? (or I'm unlucky).

(I went to the exp farm spots on the map)

Is there a new or better method for getting legendary/fabled/mythic items?

 

There's a 2.0.3 update feature called "caves". These are essentially very short challenges with a 3-4 tier loot chest at the end/during. The amount and level scales with cave difficulty.

Completing caves near the gear's level is a good strategy to get gear.

Grinding mobs near the item's level also works, but XP grind mobs drop items at a very low rate compared to usual mobs.

 

TY. Do you know if loot bonus affects the quality/quantity of items in chests? I was thinking of switching off of my morph set to a high mobility build, but since I lose so much loot bonus I have to ask whether it affects the chests or not.

 

I does in fact affect the quantity. the Loot quaity identification affects the quality, but may only be obtained by crafting gear and consumables, which is either a long and arduous process or an expensive one.

 

xp farm mobs dont drop loot. instead they drop hella xp, its kind of why they're popular xp farm spots.
