Guardian Stacking

When using the Guardian spear you gain its major id also called Guardian, which will redirect 35% of damage nearby allies take to you. During certain raids some of the reward chests will offer a reward with the same major id, same name and same stats. My question is: do these two bonuses stack or can you only have one active at a time?

 

They do not stack.

As a general rule, Major Ids do not stack. Even if they did, I'm not sure Guardian would because it's based off of applying effects (which may or may not have levels) to nearby players.
