Why is my Corrupted Arakadicus level 125

I've tried to look for info on what determines the level of the boss in corrupted infested pit, but I can't find any info anywhere.

I'm trying to complete this dungeon while I'm overleveled but I still get one-shot.

When I try to look up the boss on the wiki it states she should be level 85, yet mine has always been level 125. Seeing the hp difference on the wiki means there should be a huge difference in the difficulty so I would really love to fight the level 85.

Is there any way to access the level 85 boss? I've tried resetting the dungeon streak by taking the loot from the forgery chest but it did not change her being level 125.

If anyone could provide some details I'd be very grateful!!

 

The dungeon is intended to be done at level 85, but the boss is level 125.
A level of a boss doesn't directly correlate to the level it's meant to be done at, rather it roughly shows how strong it is.
That being said, it's not an exact art, and Wynn pretty often just throws out big numbers with most bosses past level 68.
Ultimately what number is displayed doesn't matter though, if you're high enough level to do the dungeon/quest/raid you are high enough level to fight the boss.

What you're saying doesn't explain the different level thresholds given on the screenshot I provided

Im only 84 tho and im trying to get the nii armor from the dungeon.. How come my boss is already this high? I'm getting insta one shot by her.

So I'm basically cooked untill im higher level, after which I dont have any use for the armor piece anymore

the big issue with arakadicus is her web spell and the idol. In order to beat her, it's usually advisable to focus on the idol once it spawns every ten seconds just to isolate her from the spider swarm. Then, there's the issue of "What build are you using? Is it any good?" and then there's skill.

 

yah ok thanks, just wish I could choose to fight the 90k hp one instead of 800k for more linear progress into my items. Appreciate the advice though and will try to keep your tips in mind next fight.

 

its possible its a bug and youre meant to be getting the lv 95 or 105 version of the boss
