Where is the rest of the Wynncraft world?
I know I can’t be the first person to think of this, but why would I ask this?

Province.

In Wynncraft, we have only seen a TINY, TINY little fraction of the planet, because we have been to 2 provinces, and a bunch of random little islands strewn about the sea.
This means we haven’t even seen A SINGULAR COUNTRY OF THE ENTIRE WORLD OF WYNNCRAFT!

So, with Fruma being basically the last bit of open room in the provinces left, where do we go from there? Sure, theres the Realm of War, but after that, do we go to yet another new realm/dimension?!

WHERE DO WE GO??? ARE WE GONNA’ HAVE TO HAUL THE WESTERN MOUNTAINS TO THE ENDS OF THE (wynn)EARTH?! WHATS IT GONNA BE?!?!!? I DEMAND ANSWERS!! I SIMPLY DEMAND THEM!
I WOULD PART THE WYNNIC PEAKS FOR MY DESIRED ANSWERS! I WOULD!
TELL ME ALREADY, WHERE IS THE REMAINING PARTITION OF OUR BOVINE BLESSED PLANET?!!? WHERE IS IT LOCATED!?! I MUST KNOW, I SHALT NOT REST UNTIL ANSWERS ARE BESTOWED UPON ME!

 

Someone asked this question on the Discord, and basically what I recall is that we're supposed to imagine that there simply… just… is more. In-between the existing content, and beyond the mountain ranges.

 

in modern wynnic/the language wynncraft uses, the term "province" means something more like "country" or even "continent"

 

…oh, well, uhm… ****. That was a much sooner answer than expected. But that still only answers one part of the question. These parts being: Is there more to this world? Where is the rest of the world? And what is the rest of the world?
Then again though, the only unanswered part is the final one, which can’t really be explained by anyone, unless the CT already have that planned.

I cannot give answers for any of these, so you'll just have to speculate.

 

I may be wrong, but aren’t the ‘highlands’ Gale originated from supposed to outside of the scope of the game world?

 

She's implied to be from someplace out of the current map, yes.

Fruma wasn't mentioned whatsoever in the game prior to Gavel's release. I wouldn't be surprised if we start hearing about other places once we visit most of the known realms/provinces.

 

There's only 3 realms of influence

While it's never stated that it's not just Light, War and Dark, the phrasing subtly implies it.

 

Yeah, I know it's worded weirdly. It's why I stated there are 3 to make it clear there's only Light, War, and Dark

Unironically yes, because attempting to shoehorn extra realms into the lore would be incredibly lazy and break just about everything we currently have

Damn, this thread has been alive for a lot longer than I expected.

 

WynnCraft should remove the mountains and replace them with actual barriers, would better imply that there is more
Alternatively, there should be an in-world explanation of why everything is surrounded by mountains

 

It would look bad if they removed them.
Wynncraft is built on top of a superflat world.

 

that shouldn't be too big of an issue, as they can just extend the terrain out a bit or shape it so none of the superflat is visible

 

But then the map wouldn't be a rectangle :(

Also, that would be a lot of unnecessary work for the build team and I could see it confusing some players
