Hello everyone,
After a few months of inactivity on my WynnPedia Desktop App Guide project, I’m excited to announce that I’m back on track!

While I had to prioritize other important projects, WynnPedia is now my primary project focus.

Why WynnPedia?

After being a part of the Wynncraft community for over 7 years, I wanted to give back by creating a tool that players like me would find invaluable. WynnPedia is also a personal learning project, aimed at sharpening my skills in application development while providing value to the community.

Current Development Status

WynnPedia is in the early development stage. Despite its infancy, we have made significant progress:

Visual Overhaul: Redesigned the interface to create a unique and polished design.

Dynamic Data Rendering: Real-time statistics now populate the Home Page.

Guild Activity Checker: A fully functional tool to track guild member activity.

Next Steps:

Expand features with additional utilities.

Replace placeholder assets with custom icon sets and approved resources.

Feature Ideas (Under Consideration)

1. Interactive Map Integration

- Hello everyone, progress on character information display for specific characters has been made. Similar function currently working in official Wynncraft's stats.

I would love to see ppl use it for real.

As mentioned, my priority is to practice and build so I have more built up portfolio.

However, the idea/fact that it might be useful to someone is something, what keep me "fueled" to keep going.

Also, if you would have idea for some custom tool, you can try to suggest. For example, the tab function wouldn't be edit without feedback since I had no plan to add that. But I love it how it turned out.
What I was thinking is to add option to have 2 tabs side by side (as in usual web browser), but I have no clue how to implement it and for now, I would rather focus on to add more content. But maybe, in the future update I'll do it.

I don't have any idea what exactly do you mean.

If you would be be able to provide more detailed description or picture for example.

 

I don’t remember this exactly but do you mean being able to link stats in the forums signature (forums signature is a custom thing you can have appear when you message)

Unfortunately, I don't know about any API which will provide data about custom forum signitures.

Hey guys,

I'm working on leaderboards page.
- In the meantime, navigation between player and guild page has been finished. Now there's a way how to jump on player's guild page or from guild page jump to player page for specific players.
- I've decided to use model, where it will create 2nd tab as "jumped" player/guild.
- Now, I'm missing to do search bar guild's members. (so you'll be able to search for specific guild member)
- And also, would love to make banner rendender, however I have no clue how to manage it. At least for now.

- Now, I've started first work on the leaderboard page.

- I'm trying to keep going with this, to not give up. Also, I have older project once again in the process of bug fixing so there's not that much time left for WynnPedia. However, I'm trying to keep at minimum a little bit of work in meantime.

Thank you for reading, and I'm still looking for custom tools ideas, which could be potentially implemented.
It has been already more than 1 month of "active" posting, however the progress lack on the simple fact of me working on this in my freetime.

Summary

- PLAYER PAGE

• Stats rendering (global stats, characters, rankings, etc)
• Character details as popup, controls: fast switch with arrows, escape
• Tabbing - similar to web search, you can search for multiple players during one session. HOWEVER: Now, these tabs won't save, ony "global. searched player" will

• Same as for player page, rendering stats of searched guild.
• Full list render for all guild players
• MISSING: Banner render, total members count, search bar function

- ACTIVITY CHECKER

• Simple tool, which allows you to search for any guild and ammount of days of players inactivity. It will show you which players has been offline for more than specified days.
• Aka. guild purge tool
