There are no beds

So the other day I was doing the Meaningful Holiday quest and I got on top of the big snowman at the entrance where I found a trap door on his head.
If you open the trap door it imminently shuts but I was recording at the time for the youtoose and by slowing down the video you can just barely make out a black bed hidden in there!
Why is this relevant? Because in my whole 1 year of playing Wynncraft, I have never seen a vanilla bed. All the beds I have ever seen are made of wool blocks and carpet, likely to prevent interacting with them.

There are no beds anywhere, except this one hidden away in the hat of a snow man in front of Santa's house, locked behind a trap door you can not get through

There are vanilla beds in some places throughout the map. Tempo Town, for instance.

Interesting discovery though.

 

Couldn’t they just disable sleeping or resetting your spawn point? I feel that there has to be basic server plugins for that.

 

Like I said, there are actual vanilla beds throughout the map. Nothing happens when you right-click on them.

You can't interact with Vinalla beds atm.

 

the real question is when do we get the sleeping update

i want to have a paid inn I can sleep at even if its just for fun

 

the reason vanilla beds are so rarely seen is probably because they suck. block built beds are much better-looking
