Getting completely unplayable lag after the Spirit festival

I'm actually surprised I even made it to the roots of corrupted, last time it took 10 minutes just to get from deltas to the roots, then missed the party I was in as I had to relog and couldn't join back. Had to log off and miss annie this time as I couldn't cast spells, open compass, type commands, or type in chat

I've been dealing with lag this been ever since the spirit festival ended, and I don't know what's causing it. During and before the festival I did not have lag this bad at all, unless during annie. Now, I cant even do annie because of it, actually, half the time I cant even GET to annie because I can barely move or cast spells.

Another thing is, I tried a run of TCC last week and got terrible lag, about half or close to the same in the video, but only in the challenge rooms, once I reached the buff rooms, all the lag would go away, then all would come back when entering the next challenge.

Most of it seems to happen when I'm spell casting or teleporting (mage teleport)

Anyone else experiencing this? I have to take a break from doing anything on Wynncraft (besides opening a daily crate) because its just completely unplayable, which is really frustrating as I've had to take breaks from the game in the past due to this issue. Its so random when it comes and goes

 

when i use Double Jump on my assasin i literally start flying. Like, creative mode flying. I feel like im gonna get banned which means i cant play on that class anymor

 

has happened to me before, i'm pretty sure the auto-ban feature can't detect it (as i progressed 60-some levels on acro using wynntils and the olinus pack), but if you do get banned that's a pretty easy ban appeal

also to the op it looks like you're using wynntils, that (or another mod) is probably gonna be the issue. I've been doing just fine on bad internet with 1.20.4 unmodded

 

Try using a different Minecraft version and/or playing without any mods.

I use 1.21 to play wynncraft, and all the mods were working perfectly fine. I had an idea that it might have been a mod that caused chunk loading to do this but I tried taking it off and playing without mods and it still happened. It’s just odd that I can play perfectly fine for a while and then randomly my game is delayed by 5 minutes for weeks on end

I may try something with mods to see if it is the issue though. Not sure though as i’ve experienced this before in the past without mods

 

Try playing on version 1.21.1 (that is the version I use, anyway). Also, make sure your mod loader or launcher and all of your mods are up-to-date.
If that still doesn't work, then try playing without any mods.

 

No problem, not your fault at all, thanks for trying to get me in the party, i was spamming the join party button

I ended up getting sent into a solo event and somehow lived enough to do 3 million damage before dying

I’ve never heard of wynntils doing anything like this

 

wynntils is not the cause of the hop glitch, wynncraft is
wynntils just increases lag which increases the odds of this happening

 

What is hop glitch?
