Community Event Festival of the Spirits - Community Art Contest

Many in Wynncraft's community have been displeased with the apparent stop to the official Wynn art contests. Over the years, we've heard nothing about their return after the fiasco with the last official Blizzard contest, only getting Giveaways for crates each festival. Well, that's BORING! So, we bring you:

The Community's Festival of the Spirits Art Contest 2024!

Theme: Festival of the Spirits (Anything related to the Festival)

End Date: November 1st, 12:00 GMT-0

Now, you may be asking, Mrs. Someone, why should I care and why should I participate in the contest? Well, you scallywag, why not look at the prizes we're giving away?

Prizes:
The current prizes are as follows. They may increase overtime.
First place - 25 STX of LE + Revenant
Second place - 20 STX of LE + Hadal
Third place - 17 STX of LE
Fourth place - 10 STX of LE
Fifth place - 8 STX of LE

Additional First Place Prize: Pick a spooky Wynn mob to get a Blockbench model (Get into contact with Deusphage)

Rules:

1. Submissions must follow the Contest's Theme
2. Submissions must be yours; In the event you are posting the submission for somebody else, you must have their consent
3. Generative AI is Prohibited and will result in a Ban from future contests (and will be pointed and laughed at)
4. Submissions must have some form of an artist's signature
5. Every Submission must be Safe For Work (PG-13)
6. Only fill out the Submission Form if you are participating

Submission Process and Form:

To have a valid Submission that will be included in the contest, you must show a Time Lapse / Proof of Legitimacy for your Submission ( video, collage of WIP pictures, etc ). You will be required to give 1-2 link(s) in the appropriate text boxes in the submission form: one for the image and one for the time lapse. Once the contest ends, I will collect every submission and order them in a Judging Form that will be given out to the appropriate people that have chosen or have been chosen to judge.

What was the blizzard fiasco?

 

Crates were given to AI users during the official Festival of the Blizzard 2022, and we haven't had a single contest since then.

 

in like 2022 iirc? the art contest had ai generated submissions that won like 3rd place or something, and the community was reasonably ticked off. since then there hasn't been an official wynn art contest, only community ones
