Dream Major ID

    Just curious about people ideas, what’s your dream major ID, like something that you wish was in the game, but also isn’t too far fetched and too stressful to code as well as being balanced/having draw backs. Not going to do anything with these, just like to hear people’s ideas and thoughts. Here is my dream MID

    +Unburdened: Clones now separate from you and follow enemies, but no longer provide damage resistance, increases Mirror image cooldown by 10 seconds

    Your Totem automatically spawns maximum Crimson Effigies when you cast it, so that you dont need to get the right uproot angle in tough boss fights.

    Totemic Bounce: Seeking Totem causes your Totem to follow you vertically, triggering Rain Dance and Totemic Smash.

    maybe combat-viable MotC
    also rain dance feels like an ability with untapped potential

    +The Earth Claims : Halve Bryophyte Roots' range and duration, and double the damage (per second) and slowness.

    As someone who plays bolt freedom, bryophyte roots is like the singular substantial crowd control I have (with a maxed aspect); but its effects are kind of meh if you stack ws curses in a lr. Trading range and duration would be fairly balanced as I believe as the total damage would be same, but the control would be better.

    +Cloak and Dagger: Vanish lasts forever as long as you are standing still. Vanish is expended more the faster you are moving.

    maybe based on the TF2 invis watch of the same name

    +Blazing Storm: Scorched earth has double the range and ignites enemies dealing damage over time with chance of spreading across mobs.

    I feel like archer could use some damage over time effects besides just poison.
    And I like fire creep

    Might I add:
    +Miswired: The range of traps are increased. Traps deal thunder damage to enemies in range over time instead of exploding.

    Might be too good for stalling, maybe something like dead ringer?

    Dead ringer: If you take fatal damage, consume all marks nearby, enter vanish, and heal 1% for every mark you consumed, can only be used once every 10 minutes

    101% chance mythic drops, 4X Exp gain, any child NPCs are afraid of you [this makes quests like The Passage difficult]

    I mean yeah I was just saying an indefinite vanish might be broken, but I did love the TF2 idea so I wanted to give one for dead ringer, also it is restricted to shade

    IMO I don't think that a revive itself makes it into paladin. It would be played differently and wouldn't be entirely passive, like second chance, and would be a bit less powerful since you could only get up to 10% of your HP back instead of 30%. Personally I think it would be very interesting, especially if it only triggers if there are marked mobs nearby. You'd kinda have to keep mobs marked at all times as a sort of safety net, which I think would be fun to play around.

    I have a handful:

    +Demonic Healing: Fluid Healing uses your Fire Damage Bonus instead of Water Damage.

    +Soul of the Pack: Nearby players gain 75% of the mana you naturally regenerate.

    +Lone Hunter: Call of the Hound, Ivyroot Mamba and Murder Flock no longer summons Hounds, Snakes and Crows, but you gain +3 traps with reduced damage.

    Soul of the pack sounds incredibly busted but also really fun and interesting. I think 15-25% would be a little bit more balanced.

    +Incorruptible: Bak'al's Gasp no longer blocks health regeneration, but adds less Raw Damage.

    +Wyvern: Snake Nest significantly increases Ice Snake's damage instead of summoning more snakes.

    +Overflow: Flow State lasts longer and gives a higher damage increase, but requires landing 120 hits.

    +Spite: Sacrificial Shrine spends 30 points from your Blood Pool to make Aura deal even more damage and grant more healing.

    +Stave Strike: Main attacks with a wand gain a melee strike that does 70% damage, but the beam damage is reduced by 50%.
