How do i get the wynn resource pack? Is it even possible/allowed to do?

Basically i wanted to work on a resource pack for wynn that brings the classic block textures from before the pack came about, but without breaking stuff that wouldnt work without it such as health bars, weapon skins and such

I tried some methods to get the pack, decompiling the file from the serverpacks folder on .minecraft didnt work as the decompilers said the files were corrupted, tried to use a new profile with curseforge to download the pack completely new, same result, corrupted. After that i tried deleting all server packs but as i use wynntils it basically resulted in nothing changing as i think wynntils use its own pack, so i tried searching for it in wynntils' files but couldnt find anything.

And so here i am now, can someone help me with this? does someone know any different method i could use to get the pack (if it is even allowed to do so) or if someone could provide me a download for the latest realease of the wynn pack i would be very grateful, thanks for reading so far.

 

in my experience, just taking the most recent file from server resource packs folder (assuming your most recent server resource pack download was wynn), taking it, and just changing the ending to .zip works fine.

 

i tried that too, but turning them to zip files gives the same result as it being corrupted. I know it might be a little to much to ask for, but if you can get the pack normally, do you think you could give me a download link for the pack?

 

There is this tool that unpacks "Corrupted" ZIP files ("Corrupted" as its intentionally to protect the files)

The tutorial are very straightforward

NOTE:
Wynncraft usually change the base pack once per week or so
Noticable when some fireflies display became flying axe
I believe this to add more layer of protection from extracted and modified resourcepack

 

i actually managed to get the pack thanks to someone in discord haha but thanks anyway, i will keep that in mind when working in my packs in the future

 

iirc its just that theyre just adding a lot of new textures and every update to the pack shuffles around the data for some reason, and not a security measure

I guess they automatically create the pack and code then, like texture-baker thing

Just cause 2.1 dropped doesn't mean I ever stopped updating mobs with new models
