Question about worlds

Hi guys, i am new, i joined Wynncraft couple of days ago and my question is, do Wynncraft worlds have different proxys or servers? what i mean by that, is like for example: world 10 has its server located in eu, but world 20 has its server located in America, there for each world has different ping, is this true that it works this way, or am i saying here complete nonsense? if it is true then what world should i play as central european? also should i stick with one world when playing, or should i change it up? i dont think so, i think they are all in the same location but i might be completely wrong
