The title says it all, but if you could also provide a loot pool or the chances for a Mythic it would be greatly appreciated.

I do believe pot items still exist, but also... why? Lootruns and raids are good enough money sources nowadays that it's become pretty unnecessary...

Hey! I've been doing the exact same as you :)

I've also gotten mythics from a couple of extra ways:
    Dungeon rain
    Lootrun chest

I'm actually testing whether or not pots drop mythics at the moment too, so far I've only broken about 15k, and by the sounds of it, the average pot mythic drops after 500k assuming it's still in the game - if I find out, I'll let you know xD (I haven't even had a regular item yet oof)

EDIT: I think that stealing affects your chances of getting items from pots?

Tip: Try breaking pots with a not max level class and see how many you need to break to get items. I think it is bugged to where lvl 105/106 and maybe a bit below that can't get item drops outside of powders and emeralds.

I remember seeing a video on Youtube, trying the exact same thing. I believe they did use a LB/LQ set.

Would sure be interesting, pot grinding ‍♂️

Its interesting, in prospect talking about even plausibly obtaining a mythic from usual means, for those interested in the "theoretical" odds, (its theoretical because it isnt guaranteed)
    I did the math:

If you were to obtain a mythic from normal means from an item bomb the odds are on average 0.000007% chance.

Or a 7/1,000,000 chance of obtaining, although i understand you want to obtain a mythic through an item bomb the odds are so low, you have a higher chance of being struck by lightning, during a lightning storm.

Assuming you hit a pity once you hit the 0.000007% chance, you would need to spend: $8,570,000 assuming standard luck. And assuming this forum post is correct (search: how much wynncraft has made), you would value wynncraft at a wopping:

Total Cost = (Cost per Attempt) * (Number of Attempts) * (1 / Probability of Success)
    Total Cost = $59.99 * 1,000,000 * (1 / 7)
    Total Cost ≈ $8,570,000

$8,726,250 in net value, of course statistically the post of above me is an approximation but it gives you a small insight into the absolute insane odds required.

    That number is just wrong.
The most cost-efficient bomb is the 52 bomb pack which I would have to pay about 71.39 USD for. Meaning, 1 bomb would be 71.39$/52
Then, just multiply that by the expected number of attempts and you get the expected cost.
    71.39$/52 * (1000000/7) =196126$

Also, I will not be buying them with money, but with shares.
Same concept, different costs, average share cost is about 50LE with which I can get 4 item bombs.
    50LE/4 * (1000000/7) = 1785714.2857LE

Also, if you want to know how many shares that is, it is around 35714 shares

Just for clarity, that math was solely for demonstration purposes, i wasn't entirely meant for that to be by fact but instead a potential speculation of the possibility of what its like by going by that certainty, on top of that your region varies by pricing, so i can tell you by fact the math is correct, having a degree in math i can certify that.

Genuinely you must count the genuine possibility of successions within the variation of cost, i dont believe your math accounts for that. Either way the math calculates an obsurd figure which shouldn't be fathomed simply by ones wallet. If one was to spend a preposterous amount of money on a block game i shall ask you to seek financial and medical advice. :saltedhigh:

Anyway despite that its quite funny to discuss.

If I follow the way your math is done, you are paying 59.99$ per bomb, which is absurd.
That is the reason why I said your math is wrong since that is the wrong thing. If you just divided that number by 52, you would get a very similar result to mine, just with a difference in pricing due to regional differences, which I factored in, and said I factored in.
I also said, expected price, since, after all, you are not guaranteed a Mythic after that many bombs, or any amount of them for that matter.

Now, on the subject of your mistakes, I didn't even catch all of them before.
1."odds are on average" ... that is not a sentence I expect from someone with a degree in mathematics. Odds are a constant. Unless you change the problem you are working on, the odds do not change.
(Yes, if you have a bowl filled with balls of 2 colors and you take out 1 ball and now pull another, the odds of pulling a color change, but that is changing the problem as said above.)
    2. 0.000007% ≠ 1000000/7 | I did not even notice this before, which is why if you did not get that number wrong and the correct probability is just that number without the percentage, my calculation still would not be wrong. But in case that is the correct number, then the actual likelihood is 7/100,000,000, which is way worse.
    3.
So... the probability of success is suddenly... 7? So with every bomb you throw you get 7 mythics?
    Otherwise okay.
    4. Work on your grammar. There were about 10 mistakes in your 2nd post. I fixed them all in my quote of you, but yeah.

Anyway, the last post I make on this thread, cya.

Is the chance to get a mythic from an item bomb seriously that low? I got a Cata from an item bomb back in 2017 and have been trying to chase that feeling ever since.
