Can the class menu interface be changed? (Question for CT)

I was just wondering, with more server building technologies now available to the content team, is it possible for a custom menu to be added for the classes?
I know the current menu is some sort of chest retexture, but the inventory space isn't utilized at all

Thinking about it, if it could be changed, then that way any potential future plans to the class menu could also have room

Good to know, i’m also wondering how “custom” could it be? Like can it only be a retextured inventory or container gui?

 

In theory, for resourcepack, it can just remove the inventory and hotbar texture to blank/with some text information or something else.

For actual gui change, if they wanted to, they can make it the chest gui (active gui opened) a double-chest size, then rearrange some items. And can also have some active weapon/armor preview after the class icon

GUI change, for weapon it just show the active weapon name, for armor it lists active armor in the lore.

For resourcepack, just keep the current gui and replace the inventory GUI with something like in my screenshot. Just to pleasure eye tbh
