SPOILER Interesting Occurrences in the Silent Expanse

I’m gonna preface this with saying i do not have any images of the events I mention here, as I noticed them in passing and idk how rarely they can happen

While traveling around the silent expanse, I’ve noticed a few… interesting things. Nothing big enough to call a world event, but occurrences nevertheless. I think making a community list of these would be neat and this is a good enough place as any

I have only seen 2, but there is a chance more happened that I didn’t see, as specifically in toxic wastes I saw particles off to the side while lootrunning but didn’t investigate

1.) Little Guy
- location: transition between eyeball forest and olmic city
- event: I saw a little guy on the path, who then skittered away towards the edge of the map. It looked like a small black thing with one eye, but I didn’t get a good look

2.) Curious Watcher
- location: eyeball forest, start of the path leading up to church grind spot
- event: I saw a tall, purple and black entity that was about two blocks wide and 3-4 tall shyly peeking at me from around the side of a rock, the creature fled when I approached it


If anyone else has any strange things happen to them, feel free to add those. If anyone sees these can you try to get a screenshot?

also the names i just came up with on the spot, the curious watcher and curious starers are different things
(lil guy might be a remodel of them tho)

How long has this been a thing and how have I not heard of it

 

It was actually added during SE’s introduction back in 1.19 it was just so rare that you were lucky enough to be the first ever player to have ever encountered it in the history of the server

On a related note I don’t think ive seen anyone talking about that one teaser in which an assassin falls into a pit in toxins wastes

maybe a lootrun event?

I feel like the LR random events should just be edited to be regular random events tbh

 

They make much more sense being contained only within lootruns however, due to the way some of them are

 

Of course yeah but I feel like they would be better off reworked as regular random events instead of just during lootruns. I feel like the current world events are missing something, like they don't truly feel like world events, and having random events in the actual world outside of lootruns would help fill that gap.
